Overview + Key Features

Our team worked on creating a new landscape for this senior housing facility. This project included planting new trees and shrubs, while also putting down stone mulch, bark mulch and helping seed for new lawns. We also installed a new irrigation system that provides drip irrigation to all trees and planting beds.

Challenges

There was a short window of time for our team to execute the work in the field. Additionally, because the project was completed in August, the goal is to complete the spring planning in the late spring.

Solution

While one option was to use permanent seeding now, we ultimately suggested that utilizing annual rye seed first would be best given the time of year and also help with limiting the amount of weed growth. This will help with the final product. Additionally, we had substitution plants ready to help with the final tagging process across the multiple nurseries. To prevent plants from drying out, our team also utilized hand watering while we waiting for the final plumber inspection.

End Result

Both the design team and clients were very happy with the final outcome of the project.
