Research Lab

Overview + Key Features
This project centered around the transformation of a former conference space into a fully operational laboratory suite. Converting the area into a completely different type of environment required thoughtful planning and extensive modifications to meet lab-specific requirements. Key upgrades included the installation of two fume hoods and multiple lab gas turrets, among other infrastructure adjustments.
Challenges
Located on the sixth floor, the project site posed several logistical challenges. The hallway leading to the construction area served as a main walkway for employees heading to the cafeteria, necessitating constant cleanliness and hourly maintenance. Additionally, special care had to be taken to control noise and vibration levels due to the proximity of the ACF directly below.
Solution
To minimize disruption, construction activities were carefully scheduled during off-hours. Close collaboration with our client was essential to monitor and manage noise and vibration levels in real time, ensuring operations continued smoothly without affecting adjacent spaces.
End Result
The project concluded successfully with the delivery of seven fully equipped laboratories. The space now serves as a modern, efficient lab environment designed to meet the evolving needs of the client.
