Overview + Key Features
This US Army housing project complex included two locations on the base. The first location included four single family residential units, each with nearly a half-acre of lawns and landscaping. The second is a twenty-four-unit multifamily neighborhood with park like grounds including plantings, concrete sidewalks, granite curbing, basketball court, and a large playground.

​Challenges
One of the challenges our team faced was trying to figure out the logistics of working on an active US Army base with two separate areas of construction. Lead times were also a challenge as the playground equipment was shipped over from Germany.

​Solution
Partnering with the general contractor and site contractor to create a logistical plan for stagging equipment and plants in phases helped us significantly. This plan helped organize the order in which projects were to be completed. Coordinating with the playground manufacturer helped us be proactive with planning stages and helped create a clear line of communication.

End Result
Project completed as scheduled and residents moved into the units delighted with their new surroundings and an established neighborhood feel.
