Overview + Key Features
This project was designed for a city park upgrade. This design took out most of the existing landscape and renewed the area with additional planting beds and sod for the community to have functions and town events. The project was located the city’s downtown district. 
​Challenges
Traffic was on all three sides of the large triangle park. Ground water was constant in the center of the project causing sinking of material. This had to be completed for a holiday on a very tight timeline.
Solution
Traffic devices were put in place to keep the crews safe. All employees wear high visibility gear to make sure they are seen. When needed, detail officers were used to keep traffic away from the project. The water issue was addressed by adding more material where it was unlevel and notifying the GC that the area was constantly wet. The area was in a large sod field. Sod was installed over the wet area and the water has since dissipated. We used long workdays and weekends to stay ahead of the timeline. Monitored the weather for any upcoming delays and made sure all material was on time.  
​End Result
This project has been completed the city was very pleased with the outcome of the landscape install. The city has had many events at this park since the completion of this project with many compliments on how it came out.
